Sau lô xe của Honda từ Thái, đã có ôtô từ Anh, Mỹ, Nhật về Việt Nam

Tổng cục Hải quan cho biết lượng ôtô nhập về Việt Nam bắt đầu tăng trở lại sau khoảng thời gian giảm. Ôtô không chỉ nhập khẩu từ Thái Lan mà còn từ Mỹ, Anh, Nhật…

Theo thống kê của Tổng cục Hải quan, trong tuần gần nhất (2-8/3), đã có 2.020 xe ôtô nguyên chiếc nhập khẩu vào Việt Nam, với tổng trị giá 44,4 triệu USD. Trong đó, có 1.981 xe ôtô nguyên chiếc dưới 9 chỗ ngồi, trị giá 42,1 triệu USD. Số lượng ôtô tải và các loại khác là không đáng kể với 40 chiếc và  trị giá khoảng 2,3 triệu USD.

Tổng cục Hải quan cho biết ôtô dưới 9 chỗ ngồi đăng ký nhập khẩu đã tăng trở lại. Những xe này có xuất xứ chủ yếu từ Thái Lan với lô xe của Honda.

Tuy nhiên, đã bắt đầu có xe xuất xứ từ Nhật Bản, Mỹ và Anh nhưng số lượng còn ít. Các xe được nhập chủ yếu tại cảng Sài Gòn và Hải Phòng.

Trước đó, 2 tháng đầu tiên của năm 2018, lượng xe ôtô dưới 9 chỗ ngồi nhập vào Việt Nam giảm kỷ lục. Chỉ có tổng cộng 18 chiếc ôtô cập cảng trong tháng 1 và 13 chiếc trong tháng 2. Lượng ôtô tải cũng giảm mạnh so với cùng kỳ năm 2017.

Tính chung 31 chiếc ôtô nhập khẩu trong 2 tháng đầu năm chỉ có trị giá 1,16 triệu USD. Trong khi đó, cùng kỳ năm ngoái, 2 tháng đầu năm 2017 đã có khoảng 9.600 xe ôtô nguyên chiếc nhập vào Việt Nam với tổng trị giá khoảng 162 triệu USD.

Báo cáo của Tổng cục Hải quan cũng ghi nhận việc nhập khẩu xe từ Mỹ, Nhật Bản và Anh trở lại Việt Nam. Đức đã xuất 1 chiếc (trị giá 95.000 USD), Anh xuất 4 chiếc (220.000 USD), Mỹ xuất 8 chiếc (960.000 USD)…

Nguyên nhân việc nhập khẩu xe giảm là do từ đầu năm 2018, Toyota và Honda đã tạm dừng xuất khẩu ôtô sang Việt Nam, do những quy định nghiêm ngặt về xe nhập khẩu vừa được ban hành trong Nghị định 116. Quy định mới có hiệu lực vào đúng thời điểm Việt Nam bãi bỏ thuế nhập khẩu ôtô nội khối ASEAN, bắt đầu từ ngày 1/1/2018.

Riêng phía Toyota Việt Nam đang nhập khẩu một số loại xe từ Thái Lan, Indonesia và Nhật Bản. Lượng xe nhập khẩu chiếm khoảng 1/5 doanh số, tương đương 1.000 xe/tháng.

Nhiều doanh nghiệp than khó về 2 điểm tại nghị định mới, là Giấy chứng nhận chất lượng kiểu loại xe cơ giới do nước ngoài cung cấp (VTA) với xe nhập khẩu và mỗi lô hàng đều phải kiểm định một mẫu xe.

Việc tăng lượng xe trong tuần đầu tháng 3 là do lô xe đầu tiên của Honda đã cập cảng. Honda là hãng xe đầu tiên có được giấy chứng nhận chất lượng kiểu loại ôtô do Chính phủ Thái Lan cung cấp cho xe xuất khẩu từ nước này vào Việt Nam. Đây là loại giấy tờ quan trọng nhất theo quy định của Nghị định 116.
