Thái Lan là thị trường đầu tiên ở Đông Nam Á được hãng xe Nhật phân phối bản nâng cấp 2017 của Honda Jazz. Đây thực chất là bản hatchback của mẫu sedan City, dùng chung nền tảng khung gầm. Xe cũng từng ra mắt tại quê hương Nhật Bản dưới tên gọi Honda Fit.
So với phiên bản cũ, kiểu dáng thiết kế của mẫu xe mới nhiều nét thể thao hơn. Lưới tản nhiệt, cản trước và cản sau được tinh chỉnh lại. Bộ mâm xe cũng đổi mới về thiết kế nhưng có kích thước chỉ 15 inch, nhỏ hơn bản tiền nhiệm. Phần cản va trước, hốc đèn sương mù rộng hơn, cánh lướt gió bên sườn và cánh gió mui đằng sau đã được điều chỉnh. Cụm đèn pha tích hợp công nghệ LED.
Honda còn cung cấp phiên bản thể thao RS. Điểm khác biệt của phiên bản này đến từ các chi tiết ốp nhựa màu đen, đèn pha full LED, bộ mâm phối 2 tông màu kích thước 16 inch, logo RS ở lưới tản nhiệt và đuôi xe, cặp ốp kính chiếu hậu đen.
Ở bên trong, ghế ngồi của Honda Jazz 2018 được thiết kế thể thao, kết hợp chất liệu nỉ – da và phối hai tông màu tương phản. Chính giữa ghế còn xuất hiện đường kẻ nằm dọc tương tự phong cách của chiếc Civic thế hệ mới. Phiên bản RS sẽ có phần chỉ viền tương phản với màu ghế. Đáng chú ý, mọi phiên bản đều được trang bị kết nối Bluetooth, cân bằng điện tử, hỗ trợ leo dốc như là tiêu chuẩn. Các chi tiết khác bên trong nội thất của Jazz 2018 không mấy thay đổi so với mẫu xe hiện tại.
Tại Thái Lan, tất cả 5 phiên bản của Honda Jazz mới, đều sử dụng động cơ xăng i-VTEC dung tích 1.5 lít, 4 xi lanh. Động cơ này sản sinh công suất 117 mã lực tại vòng tua 6.000 vòng/phút và mô men xoắn cực đại 146 Nm tại vòng tua 4.700 vòng/phút. Phiên bản S dùng hộp số sàn 5 cấp hoặc hộp số CVT, trong khi các phiên bản cao hơn đều dùng hộp số CVT. Có một điểm đáng lưu ý là xe sẽ được trang bị hệ thống an toàn và hỗ trợ người lái Honda Sensing.
Giá bán của Honda Jazz 2017 tại thị trường Thái Lan từ 555.000 baht, tương đương 365 triệu đồng cho bản S số sàn. Trong khi đó, bản RS+ cao cấp nhất có giá 754.000 baht, tương đương 496 triệu đồng. Ngoài ra xe còn có các phiên bản V, V+ và RS.
